I have noticed that my converter does'nt lock manually, I have a lighted switch that is wired between the 2 far most wires on the ALCL connector. The switch is receiving 12 v's from the brake switch and also ground. The switch lights up when its turned on until I apply the brakes, which is normal function. The Tcc functions normally otherwise I just cant lock it up manually. I disconnected the four wire plug from my BQ trans and here's where I get confused. I know 12v and ground is for the Tcc circuit. But my voltmeter also shows 12v's on the 3rd & 4th gear wires; is this norma? In my book these circuits show 0.13 v's key on for 3rd & 4th gear. Can someone help me out.

Thanks in advance, Pete

You need to connect the switch between the upper right and upper left terminals. You are only controlling the ground side of the circuit. The solenoid is designed to have 12V at all times except when the brake is depressed. Hopefully you haven't popped the diode in the solenoid.
