ANS Knock Alert Questions?

I need some help here. When I start the car, the beep and light switch's are set on the "on" position. The light comes on together with the beep. But, when I run the car, at the 2nd to 3rd shift, I get one flash from the light but no beep. I thought that both should come on. I used two different units with the same result. Am I knocking or is it false knocks?

I still say that both units, are defective. Either that, or the same defective one was shipped back to you.

The gauge CANNOT differentiate between knock and false knock.

Im guessing i have the same black box, will this cause your car to not shift into gear while going from first to second at full throttle? also how do you know if the box is on or not? thanks guys
