ANS Knock Sensor?

Does anyone know how to hook up the audible part to the ANS visual\audible knock sensor. The one with the big red light on one side of it and a whole on the other. Also with two switchs in the middle. It looks like you plug a headphone plug into it, but the whole is to big. Any help would be great.

Huh? Headphones!?!....

(Signal wire) "Tap into the Yellow and Black wire that is connected to pin B7 of the 24 pin ECM connector."

"To check the knock sensor out, simply flip both switches up (on) and start your car. You should get at least one audio and visual warning. If you do not, carefully check your wiring...."

I did, the only time the thing made a noise is when I had it in one of the ignition slots. And that was only when my car would not start and was just turning over. Now my car starting normally, it does nothing.

Did you buy it new or used?

Did you attach the red wire to a keyed ignition source?

From what I have been told, ANS has closed its doors and is finishing out current projects only. Even if you did get someone on the phone, good luck getting any info if you didn't buy directly from them. I called to ask a question about thier boost controller. I was asked if I bought it from them, to which I replied no I bought it off of a customer. I got hung up on.

I have the red wire pluged into a ignition socket on the fuse block, I have only heard it make a beep and light up once in a blue mood when I am trying to start the car.

It should light up and/or beep (depending on if you have both switches on/off) EVERY time you key the ignition on. Can you read any knock with a Scanmaster or DirectScan?

Yeah my DS reads knock when there is some. I rechecked the wire running to the ECU (knock wire), and tried moving the power wire it to a different ingition spot in the fuse block. Where exactly do most people have there power wire running too?
