My antenna is stuck in the up position on my 86gn. I actually have to unplug the antenna at the connector under the hood because if i dont, the motor will run nonstop. When my radio is on, and the antenna is plugged in, the motor does not run. But when i shut the car off, or turn the radio off, the antenna motor will run until i unplug it under the hood.
I have done some research on this problem and i have found some replacements for this part. I am not sure if i just need the rubber hose (which deteriorates over time), the rubber hose and antenna mast, or the whole assembly with rubber hose, mast, and motor for $300. Does anybody know which one i should get so i can put my car cover on my car. Thanks alot
