Any 200r4

Can I use any 200r4 out of g body,and have it built to the original specs brf coded trans?Should I just invest one from the venders,PTS ETC.

any core is a good start if it is properly calibrated.we have the largest inventory of brf ,cz,cq,bq and oz valve bodies in the country so the factory performance valve body assemblies can still be had .however a trans builder with a sharp pencil can usually supply you with proper calibrations,although the factory hp vbodys are awesome .www.ckperformance.com

I have a 5CQ trabsmission in my 87 Turbo-T now. HATE IT!

What kind of money should I expect to get this to a BRF specs? I've got a very good transmission builder locally..

cq is better than brf imo.just need a recalibration kit to make it shift firmer
