Has anyone tried running race fuel in their alcohol injection setup?
I know you could put it straight in the tank, but when your just cruising you would burn it all up. I guess it could work like and extra fuel tank but only activate on full throttle passes. Any insight??

Water/ Alky Injection is just in leiu of gas.
When done correctly, the system won't care if it's gas or water that you add.

When you run richer then 14.7:1 all that extra fuel is just being used to cool the combustion chamber. The whole point of WI is being able to do the same thing with water. When done right, the water is even better to use then gasoline.

Googling for NACA, and reading up on In Cylinder Cooling would be informative.

Sometimes the road less traveled is that way for a reason.

My advice: Stop trying to reinvent the wheel just so you can beat that fast blown Mustang running around in your neck of the woods. :)

Water cools much better than race gas. Also denatured alcohol has about 115 octane, and water has infinite octane. Thats why no one injects race gas
