some one told me there is a gn vs ford shoot out this weekend at cecil co md is this true.

I didn't hear anything about that event. There is a "Fords at Cecil" event around Sept 22, check with the track (see URL below).

I believe Cecil will be holding their annual Buick Day on Saturday, October 6th. This is a great Buick event. Last year there were several FAST Buicks there... some running in the 7's!!!. It's an all day event... lot's of fun.
