I purchased a 25520040 short block from a fellow TR owner, and am looking for any help with it's history. I only found a little blip on it in GNTTYPE.ORG, but nothing that was specific. The motor is done over, .30, and seems to be stock from there on. It is a 14 bolt pan, with the turbo crank and stock cam/lifters. I am definately looking to get a "bumpstick" in there, but what combo for the .30? I like lunati, but not many people have bragged about them. let me know!

I ran the Lunati 200-200 for years and loved it. I was told it had a high ramp speed and would be noisy and was more likely to wipe a lobe but it was problem free to me. I would definately recommend it. What's the rest of your combo?

My combo is still in the organizing process...lol. With the lack of cash flow being in college, I havent purchased anything to compliment this block yet. I already have what is listed in my sig, plus I have the ATR stainless up-pipe, eletric fan, and my turbo exhaust elbo has been mildly ported. Plans are: Precision TA49 turbo, Precision 42.5 lb/hr injectors, walbro 340 hotwire, and Borla 3 inch dual exhaust. I am also considering the Lee Thompson DP, or the Keith Mease Piece...Not too sure though. I know Lee's needs an external gate. As for now, I still need a tranny, or a hard part donor (see my website for info on that mess) As of now, I am waiting a stock D5 converter which hasn't arrived yet, A set of 8445 heads which have not arrived yet, and an 87 computer and translator priced right. So, aside from all of that stuff, my car has very basic mods, and sits up on cinder block. Thanks for the info...
