I came across a SEALED decanter of Beam whiskey. Still has the US Goverment tax stamp intact. the stamp says SERIES 112.

The decanter has 1969 stamped on & it says whiskey was aged 50 years.

So this is possibly a 90 year old whiskey. Worth anything of value?

Might be to a collector. It ain't wine. I think it only lasts for so long before it goes bad but don't quote me. I'd crack it open and drink it.

The whiskey is not where the value would be. The value would come from the decanter if it is considered a good on.

Hope that helps, Kip

Nah, that thing's worthless. Why don't you just send it to me, I'll get rid of it for you.

beam was put into many bottles, alot of elvis bottles had beam in it. i know it should have more value with an un-broken seal. you need to get on the antique roadshow show and find out what its worth. they maight even give you a good story to go with it.

Yes Lots of Decanter companies had Beam or other whiskies in it.

I like collecting them to display. I have the NEW HAMPSHIRE State & the OLD MAN ON THE MOUNTIAN decanters.

I have many more too like the APOLLO SPACE MAN & the Apollo ROCKET with Original boxes. But none have booze in them except my latest find of Mt rushmore & the presidents.
