any mopar techs on the board?

00 grand caravan, customer tells me it eats trans control modules,2 in the past year.i did'nt have much time to look it over. but, the batt is discharging with the key off, check engine light briefly comes on then goes off when leaving the key on for diagnostic.cust, advises that" with the 2 other tcm's that all these ailments go away."....of course no trans shifts til new module.local dealer gave cust. a laundry list of parts needed.i'd like to have some idea of what is going on with these vans as a whole before throwing a 200 dollar module at it for a few months.

Check and clean ALL the grounds. That's a good start. Also check to see if battery acid has dripped on the wiring below the battery. HTH.
