I'm looking to get 107 or 108 (unleaded) race fuel. I live in Wheaten, MD which is about 5 miles out side on Washington DC. I am willing to drive about 1 hour a way to get the fuel. I looked into going to Speed Unlimited, but.....................WTF $29.50 for 5 gals of 107, I'm not going to pay $6 a gal for 107.

Thanks,
Jay

Hey! I live in DC and was up in wheaton a few times this week. I have a yellow TType with fp gauge on the hood.

Unfortunately, the only other place I know of to get race gas is the track. Haven't ever needed any so never looked. Try giving some of the performance shops in the area a call and asking where other then speed unlimited you can get it.

Race Gas

Jay,

If you are willing to use leaded gas you can get Cam 2 (110) here in Glen Burnie. It is only 3.76 a gallon.

Country Club Auto
7448 Furnace Branch Rd
Glen Burnie Md 21060

:D They are open Sunday too.

You can go to either Capitol Raceway in Crofton, or take the drive to Maryland International Raceway in Budds Creek. Being in Wheaton, you're prolly better off going to Capitol. I live in Greenbelt, but I work in Bowie which is right down the street from Capitol:) HTH!

The Catonsville Sunoco on Rt. 40 about 2 miles west of the 695 beltway around Baltimore sells GT98 unleaded at the pump for about $4 per gallon. About 30 miles each way from Wheaton but only 98 octane R+M/2. There's supposed to be another place to get it in Glen Burnie; it may be Country Club Auto that someone else mentioned. I think Jackson Machine Shop somewhere near Catonsville also carries fuel but I don't know what flavors.
