any profec B spec 2 users ??

wondering if anyone is using this electronic boost controller on their car,if so how do you like it?thinking about buying one since my boost gauge quit working and ive been wanting an in car boost controller,i can kill 2 birds with one stone.i just dont know how good it works.thanks for any feedback and heres a link if anyone wants to check it out:

Many people, including myself, have been disapointed with the way the Profec B Spec 2 controls boost. At higher boost levels it fluctuates like a mad man, and creeps at lower levels. I personally love my AVC-R.

Interesting. I finally have a external gate which I've always wanted (not on the car yet) so I'm looking into electronic controllers. I'm all ears as to whats out there now. I was originally thinking innovative, but I've heard they can be finicky. I'm looking for set it and forget it boost control.

My boost control has been flawless since installing my Greddy Profec B last summer. Couldn't be happier.

Have 2 but not installed yet so can not give personal testimony. But I did alot of research on this board and others and there are MANY posts out there about the profec. After reading some of the posts by members that obviously know there stuff I felt very comfortable in my purchase. Do a search on it in general tech, turbos, and alcohol forums and you will see most say it is great. I have not read about 1 product yet that some do not like, just look at the majority that seem to love it.

i did search a little bit but i couldnt find too much info on it,i liked it because it also showed boost pressure.ill do some more checking.

i have installed quite a few of these with very good results.havent had any of these issues.maybe you need to experiment with your settings.what kind of gate are you using?

any of you guys using this with a stock type HD actuator with good success??im not running a delta gate or anything.i have a ta62. thanks for the help,nick

Tial 44mm wastegate, tried it recycled and open dump and it didn't make any difference. Like I said, I got rid of the Profec and am more than pleased with my AVC-R.

I love mine...hot or cold 28PSI on every blast's, I would never go back.....

28 is where I like to keep it, I could go over 30PSI but not looking to kill it

There are a few guys running this with a internal gate...have not heard any issues and most seem to like it
