It might be tube or it might be solid state. Hard telling. There's no 8 track player so I'm guessing it's a 1960-1965 model. Could be as late as a 1970 though. Probably not really worth anything but if it's free and you want it, heck go get it.
I concur see if the owner will mention the name brand. Although i don't know of any "crap" brands back in the 60's....unlike the 70's.
While that would take up A LOT of space it really has no demand.
What does have demand are the record players that were made right up untill CD's really took over. The last generation of optical drive compenent players can fetch some serious Ca$h to the Musical Geek.
Usually they can be had at a yard sale & re sold on ebay.
They have those all the time on craigslist. I got rid of one along time ago.
You can stll buy record players if you really want one but they are really high end and big money unless you buy the one that hooks to your computer. That big rca looking thing is good for a work bench.you If you have the room get it . Then you can come get the kenmore sewing machine out of my basement that matches:biggrin: Im not shipping the sewing machine.
