Any reverse look up search options to ID someone from their email address?

This one's not board related.

I created a list serve specific to one of my work duties (organizing and planning a health conference) and as moderator, have someone I don't recognize asking permission to join up. All I have is their email address. Anyone know of any free reverse search look up options on how I can find out who this person is? My last resort would be to email them direct asking for a bio but wondered if anything else exists?? TIA.

Nothing good. You can use the ip address to locate isp but that's about it.

Also - you can search in google by their username to find posts, etc. they may have made in the past.
