I just picked one up form full throttle speed and since there are no instructions I thought I'd ask here first before making a mistake on my fuel system. I tried searching but there is very little and gnttype is down:( Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

just put a little lube on the O ring. Turn the key on and check for leaks before you start it.

First, make sure that you bleed down any residual fuel pressure. You can simply unplug the fuel pump and let it idle until it dies if need be.

When putting the new one on, it's easier to attach the return fuel line first since you have to line the threads up. Also, be you have a good o-ring on the return line.

When you're done, plug the fuel pump back in, turn the ignition to run (but dont start the engine) and check for leaks.

It is VERY easy to pinch the O-ring on the back, so be sure you have a spare, or two!

HAND START the threads in all the bolts especially the bottom return line into the regulator.

I second the bit about doing the return line first. I wound up forgetting mine! Didn't take me long to fix that problem once I primed the pump. It's really easy to crossthread that return line especially if you do it last. take your time and line it up right.

One more thing.....

After you take out your old regulator, make sure the old fuel rail O-ring comes out with it. If it doesn't, dig the old one out with something. You don't want to try to put it together with two O-rings in there. Yes, it can go together with two O-rings...you just have to force it.:) Then you get to chase fuel pressure problems when chunks of the old O-ring get stuck in the return line. Don't ask me how I know.:(
