GM announced yesterday that the MSRP for the "King of the Hill" ZR1 at $103K & change.
How much will the dealers step on the MSRP do you think?

If they step it up like they did the Shelby 30,000. Love the ZR1!! Cant, or wont buy one, maybe a used one when it gets older.

with the economy the way it is, someone must be up up to thier ass in cash to shell out 100K plus, heck i might be getting some of them rollerskate sneakers ive seen around

I don't think much since it's at $100k already, if they were to sell for $110k I'd be surprised since most people will probably use the gas prices as a way to not pay that kick up in price. Even rich people don't like paying this much for gas.

And today there are more millionaires than ever, I'd bet they sell all these Vettes by November, even if it comes out in August.

I like them! Seems like the gas crunch 70's lately. Obama has been compared to Carter, then the comparison is made to now and then, so with all these comparisons, and SUV sales in the crapper, when will the lack luster performance of the 70's return to the automotive world? I can't believe that you can buy a factory super car from Chevy, Dodge and Ford these days.
I'm for it though, I'm all for the faster the better factory performance cars, it's the American way and should be. BUT, Buick needs to release a twin turbo GNX. The domestic performance car to compete with the new ZR-1. How about 700 hp with 1000 ft/tq on a V6, gas mileage that is better than the V8 on 5hitty pump gas running a factory installed alcy inj kit.

That car is a supercar. Very few cars will come near it in handleing, top speed , braking, and 1/4 mile. Car should run high tens stock. Thats bad ass!

If I had the $$$, I probaqbly would except I hate to pay over sticker for anything, so now that the normal C6Z06 is dropping in value, I am kicking around one of those. Can't reallt afford it though.
