Anybody live near Anaheim Ca? That would be able to check a vehicle out for me? I have a truck I'm interested in but there is a as is on it. Would be willing to compensate you for your time. With in reason. I know what it looks like but don't know how the motor sounds and how other things might be. Would need to be done tomorrow.

2002 Excursion V-10. just was afraid of the persons as is and wanted to make sure it was drive-able. My current tow vehicle does good but need something bigger because the wife and family could come with to races. Picking it up friday and driving it back to its new home.

i love my X.. she's a 05 Limited V10 4x4.. she sucks gas, but you should be able to get 14 to 15mpg on your trip back.. keep the RPM at 2K or lower..

i just lifted mine 4 inches total with new 285 tires and a 3in kit, so my gas mpg is out the window LOL..

good like with your new tow toy.. you won't even know your towing stuff with it..

well i purchased mine in 06 with 18K miles, so i did pay some cash for mine (but not that bad).. right now is the right time to pick these up.. the Limited package with the 05 body style has the black out kit.. the grill looks great all blacked out..

as for the ride.. YES they ride great but don't forget they are about 8,000lbs 1TON truck.. mine has the 3.73 gears so i can tow up to 11,000lbs.. standard 3.55 can tow around 8500 to 9000..
