Anybody racing this year? Track 1/4 mile

Just wondering If you guys race here in So cal.
I'm in the San Fernando Valley & would like to race my Syclone & hang out w/some Buick GN racers ,etc.

It seems guys here w/Syclones are few & do not race there trucks @ a track.

I'm just itchen to go.

Irwindale is the place to be on a weekly basis although it's only 1/8mi. I'll be out there for some t&t next Thur.

Sounds good.
I thought about going to that track because a typicle Syclone does not pull good top end anyways.

Barona 1/8 mile in San Diego has a comfortable crowd. I usually will get 4-6 runs in on a night when I'm not pulling my hair out with a tuning problem. I require some cool down time.
If you don't need cool down and go roundy round, I've heard of fellas getting in over 8 runs.

Its a Street Legal Drags event according to California Speedways site.

$20 to race $10 to watch.

I dont know if you will get a lot of runs in. If the crowd is huge 3 or 4 will be it. Other times I have seen it be a small crowd and you can run as much as you want.

Just wondering if there will be a sanctioned event there @ the same time,,time Covette day,Pontiac day etc.....

I know when it there are other events going on the same day as Street Legal Drags ,,you will hardly get to run.

But since it's Holloween,,maybe not too crowded??
