the clamps have to be replaced for better ones . that's all I can tell you cause mine are not on the car yet .

Just go on ebay 2 1/2 " v band clamps.

I have a set on my cay, motor is not in car yet. Upgrade ur v-band clamps and get a slip clamp for cross over joint. Try Napa, O'Reillys for clamps

Im gonna make a 3" downpipe looks like its gonna be tricky getting past the crossover
