I'm just curious as to what kind of tools are needed to do this, if anyone has...:D If anyone has experience with this, how hard is it? Is it worth the trouble, or should I go to a machinist?

not too hard at all the ports are only a couple inches long on the intake and from the port they get bigger as they go in so you can mark the surface to the port size you want then just work in from there till its obiously bigger

I have a stock hotair intake and one that I just got that the owner done a self porting on but I havent pulled it off the motor yet to see how it looks ...If you are interested in a spare to port on or want the one thats done if its a decent job let me know I'll sell either one pretty cheap

lol...hahahahahaha...no $Hi*...lol. That is funny...I never heard it abreviated.

I tried it myself, but I have no patience with the dremel...lol...I got my intake off of ebay...It is from IWINENGINEERING...They did a damn good job, and I think it costs somewhere in the vicinity of $300. At home though, I know a buddy who loves to do this kind of thing all the time here in jersey. he has one of my intakes for experimenting right now...Let me know what you decide to do, and if you want, my bud may be able to do it for you just for shipping expenses and the cost of the bits!

John

Glad to hear you liked yours from IWINENGINEERING, they are local boys for these parts.
