Local race shop said Citgo will no longer produce race fuel once the 110 is done due to them using up their lead supply and that Torco is also done due to poor business.

Anyone else confirm this?

This would really blow as I get 110 locally from two stations and it's been a mix I've run for years now, even in my daily driver. Looks like I'll have to go twin alky injection on my Talon in 09. :D

I work at a race shop in Canada,

we used to get Citgo race gas from the local fuel supplier, after last winter it wasn't available to us anymore, we were told it simply wasn't being made anymore.

There are two stations here that are carrying it, in Barrington and Diamond Lake.

I haven't been to either in about 2 weeks but last time I was in Diamond Lake it was $5.79 a gallon and I was happy to pay it.

Man losing 110 at that price is gonna suck and I'll have to go to Meth injection for my daily Turbo Talon now. :frown:

Gas City's are thieves, 100 octane is a dollar more than the 110.

i'll have to check and see what they are charging over here for the 110. might have to go and get one of those 15 gal containers that are like a mini gas pump.

I have a shell down here in manteno, they sell the torco for 5 something a gallon.

I posted this on my Grand Prix club forum and one member has a friend that works there. They all got laid off and the plant shut down.
