I have been looking around now for a while, with no luck. There are tons of jobs, but who wants to work for peanuts? If your looking how are you guy's doin? I think the economy's picking up.
See ya:)

I found a bunch jobs in by the chitown area, but jack out in Rockford.(besides dead end wal mart type crap) So I made up my mind and am going to apprentice to be an electrician, and maybe join the union. With all these new houses being built out here I figure residential electrician would be about as a dependable of a job I can find. So in about 3 months I'l be set and in the mean time I'l still do cheap labor for project 11's or bust:D

Good luck! It's tough out there, everyone is working for the 8 bucks an hour jobs. It makes it tough for everyone else.

How much are you trying to make? If you get a 2 yr degree with no exp, you will still have to start out 8$hr. If you get your elec. lic. then you can make $15-$20 hr EZ. I would get the lic. because you will stand out in the elec. field with the opportunity to start your own business. These days you have to have a trade.:D
