Tom,

I was thinking about going to Kirbans. I live in Florence so if I go I'll let you know and maybe we can cruise the root out with a mini-convoy.

Dave

I might be there. Might have one or two other cars coming with us.

-Banning.

i would like to go also. Anyone from berlin/atco/cherry hill area going. Where is Herb? I have no idea where it is, so following some fellow TR,s would be cool. SeeYa Mike

Mike....Im here...I don't know if I am going or not, but as of now I don't plan on going...If anything comes up I will post.

Dave {Jersey GN} Hey that's not a bad idea! Maybe we could meet at the "Super" Wawa or Bungs on Rte 130 before hopping on the TP

I forget what time it starts.....and it's probably like an hour and a half ride......

But then again, I am NOT an early riser on the weekends! ;)

If you wanna meet, let me know! I think it would be KOOL to have a few TURBO Guys out for a "Stroll" to the show!

We are expecting several hundred people and 75-??? turbo cars. Pete Serio the "window rattle guy" will be there as well as Jays GN and several other venders. And of course "Molly". Molly designed the exterior and interior of the Grand National as well as the power 6 logo. These events are very expensive and time consuming to put together. If anyone has any questions please give us a call.

what day are you nj guys going i may go but i would have to take the ty or stang since i dont think i will have the gn's brakes, maf, and 02 back together by then, cash is low.

well if anyone wants to look for my my car has my avitar in a sticker on my back window, and my plate is "Boosted6"

Anyone know if selling parts/ vending will be allowed. I thought that vendors were only by invitation?

Don.

Going Saturday only, looks like I will take the GN down if the weather is nice. I am not going to be a vendor but will bring stuff down for customers to pickup if they need anything. (just give me some notice and save on shipping)

I'm very thankful Dennis has organized an opportunity like

this Open House. After the BG monsoon, & now a poor turn-out

at Bristol, this may be the best TR event of 2002! :)

Weatherman now says that we have to watch out for that hurricane Lilli now. Might make it up this way for the weekend. :( Hope they are wrong like they usually are.:D

Look for Jay's GN at the vendor area. Jay will be representing CASPER's Electronics, and will have a big supply of our parts. I will be at this booth most of the time, so be SURE you stop by and say hello!
It should be a good turnout. Kirban hasn't had one of these reunions for maybe ten years so it's time is due.

Hope to see you there!

Looks like a WASHOUT for Sat, Hurricane Lilly is taking the EXACT same path as Isidore so far, and Landfall is Expected LATE Thursday for a Northeast WASHOUT on SAT for sure, maybe Sunday too:eek:.. Oh well..

I have to chuckle reading the latest Kirban telling what Molly will sign and how he will sign it and that he will only sign a few things.

You'd think Molly was Mickey Mantle or something at a card show, I mean come on the guy designed or had a hand in designing the turbo 6 emblem, its not like he was the one who decided to stick an intercooler on the 86 and 87 models and voila.

But I'm sure it'll make Dennis a few bucks that weekend.

Amen!!!

I actually been looking into Molly's involvement with the GN. I've concluded that yes he was involved, but not to the extent that we should all be nealing before him.

If your going, PLEASE read my rant about Molly's Red GN ;) :

I have tracked down Steve Pasteiner and need to call him. He designed the '82 GN (and the '81 Pace Car) and has much more to do with the creation of the GN than Molly.

any south jersey guys going up on sunday looking to get together for a cruise up there?

Other than spending a little time designing the LOGO & interior piping & such, thats about it!! Sadlly the REAL folks from GM,
involved in the powertrain & such, have RARELY, if ever, been heard from!!

Kirbans get together should be good though!!
