Anyone happen to know the tap size for TV cable mounting bolt?

Mine is stripped out and the stock bolt does not tighten anymore which has been causing my tranny to leak there. I want to tap it out one size bigger. What size should I tap it out to?

you could try 1/4 20

I could do that...I know the factory hole is metric...is 1/4 20 the next size bigger? If so then that answers my question.

it might work ... i am pretty sure the factory is metric FINE thread so i think if you rethread with a std coarse you should be fine.
