Anyone have on old Trail 70?

Just curious if anyone is into these things and has a service manual laying around. I'm finally putting mine together and am in need of the spark plug gap, points gap, and head bolt torque. If anyone has this info it will be greatly appreciated.

You could probably get that information at your local Honda dealer.I think they are still able to get parts for them!

Couldn't find anything directly on the head torque, but I would guess 30 ft/lb would do. If you don't want to guess, get a manual for 20 bucks

Thanks for the info. I called a couple dealers, but they both said that they don't work on bikes that old and don't have manuals for them. I was planning on buying a service manual, but just need the info I mentioned to get it together this week.

Sounds like a fun little project. Like he posted earlier, the manual should be able to be printed online. I printed the one out for the 1974 MR50 Elsinore I'm working on. I'm also working on a '74 Indian Mini Mini. These old dirt bikes are alot of fun.
Got to get me a trail70 and a z50 now.

I've had this thing since I was a kid. I bent the intake valve by over revving it when I was 16. I'm now 29 and dug it out of storage and am getting it back together. This thing was so much fun and I can't wait to get it running again. They make 110cc replacement motors for these things. Very tempting.
