I apoligize for the delay. Due to weather in the afternoons pulling these cars out of the garage has been questionable. I was unbable to get updated pics of the car with the gbody parts widened gta rears but I was able to get pics of this car today. It belongs to a friend of mine. Very very clean car. Enjoy. Please excuse my honda civic digital camera. It is a pos. To cheap to buy a new one lol

Thank you :D

I just wish I could fix the body that fast, lol

DAMN, that looks good. I have your twin in Birmingham, AL. I have a 85 Chestnut Metallic T Type with blackout trim and T-Tops. Nice car. I now am thinking about black GTA wheels.

Another blue T with gta's

The rain finally took a break so we were able to get the car out and snap some pictures. It was dirty & as usual my camera sucks but either way the car is coming along. 16x10 gbody parts widened rears with 295/50/16's. Currently had no choice but to install spacers to keep the tire off the frame rail. Lips are rolled and we are about to install new shocks/springs in the rear along with notching the frame & install the new rear suspension then have it aligned. Fronts are 235/60/16's on 8 inch gta's. Color matched bumpers were recently added. Fiberglass hood, decklid, and 87 spoiler are next. This car was a theft recovery that they put it through hell but we are bringing it back to a quality ride slowly.

Thanks to Brian @ Gbody parts for the quality components that went into this build.

Thanks to Lonnie @ Extreme Automatics for a quality transmission that is on the way. Hoping to have the stage II transmission within the week.

Do those 10 in rims rub at all? What is the back space for front and rear? Btw, I like the color matched bumpers. They actually look better then I would have thought.

With the 295/50/16 yes they rubbed the frame rail so we installed a spacer and rolled the fender lips but then with wornout shocks/springs as you can see in the pics the fenders still came down on the tire. We are notching the frame and taking the spacers out as we like the tire size. I'm not sure on the backspacing as Brian Weaver would probably know the back spacing as I got them from him. If we would have ran the M&H 265 tire I think it would have been fine but the 10 inch wheel, 295 width with the added rim diameter made it to close. Yes the bumpers turned out good. Not a show car just a driver to enjoy. After the spoiler install and a few more items it is going to get a full repaint. Will post up details over time. I told you I would get those pics eventually ;)

Came out really nice. I think im just gonna stick with the 15x8 with the 275/60 for now. I don't want the rubbing drama. Car looks very clean. I like those M&H tho. Might try those when the MT burn out.

I agree they look good on just about any TR. I especially like them on the blue T. and the black-out package really sets it off.

Ive got 10 inch 15's with 4 and 1/2 backspace with 275/60s...no rub, but IM running cargo springs from an 84 buick estate wagon so its jacked up a little but launches nice with no rub on launch on fender wells, no rub on frame rail either

I would really like to run a tire/rim that big. I just dont want the BS with rubbing but the 4.5 in a 10 in rim seems to work.

Don't know why it dosent work with others but it looks like I am gonna give the 15x10 a shot and pray it doesn't break my balls. I am getting the lips rolled correctly.

I had these old AR rims in the garage I pulled from a vette I was restoring, did some searching and heard conflicting comments..will fit, wont fit. The fronts are 9inch and with spacer they fit but there is a little rub with tight turn 235/60's on front
