anyone heard of this guy

I found on ebay under 200r4 a ad from a guy in North Carolina
under jimmywhosale. It looks like they want $850 for a built trans and no core. Kinda sounds too good. Just wondering if anybody has heard of this guy and anything good or bad.

Are you looking to put it in a turbo Buick or something else? Chances are he's not using Buick cores so the calibration may not be right for a TR. If you're doing a retrofit though, it may not be a bad deal.

Wouldn't you want to go with someone who's been in one place for at least 5 years and has a rep for good trannies? Especially behind a big block?!?

They could disappear off the web (or change names) after 5-10 junk trannies sold and then what?
