I'm about to launch my "new and improved" classic car website, and I'm in the market for a hosting service. Rather than go with some ghost in cyberspace whom I'll never meet, and likely get lousy service from, I thought I'd see if I could pay a fellow TB.com member instead. Certainly no TB.com member is capable of providing lousy service, right?

My site is built using Tomcat, Apache web server, and MySQL database. I am by no means an expert at this stuff, but have a couple of capable guys who built the site for me based on my direction.

If anyone does this and wants to work with me, please drop me a PM or email. The site is really cool, with lots of hi-res pics of the muscle cars I have for sale, and I'm hoping to get it up and running asap. Thanks.

For my personal site I just used godaddy.com. Cheap and Fast! Worked pretty good must admit. Just did one saturday afternoon.

I've had good luck with them, and when I do have a problem, I don't wait more than a minute or two to get a real person on the phone. I am very impatient when it comes to waiting for help on the phone and they haven't pissed me off yet in the 3 years I've been using them.

I'm not really sure how much or what comes in a package since the company pays for it, and our IT guys take care of the BS.
