anyone know somewere that does good tranny work

I need to have my tranny rebuilt, so i would like to go through it and upgrade some stuff, i would like to find somewere good that can do this, a place would be better than a individual as i really need to pay with a credit card (broke!!!)

I dont know if you are looking for local, but one of the best in the business is Mike Kurtz at Century Transmission. He is located in Richmond, Texas which is Southwest of Houston. HTH

Here's another one just west of Denton, he did mine and told me to take it to the track and try to break it, if I could he didn't do his job....not many transmissions builders will tell you that.
He's very well know in the f-body world in DFW.
