I know they are widened GN wheels. What size is that in the rear? They appear to be 8" in the front, but what are the rears?
Also, does anyone know what exactly this guy did to get that stance? It's perfect. The wheels and tires have that awesome "tucked" look.

Rims

Just a guess, look like P275/50R15 on a 15x10" rim with the perfect backspacing. If done right they should fit, measure carefully:cool:

P.S. It does look Baaaaad!!!

That is my GN. Here are the specs.
Front 15X8 4"BS with Bridgestone RE71 225/50-15
Rear 15X10 6.125" BS with Yokohama AVS Intermediate 285/40-15

The offset on the rears is funky because of my rear axle combination. I swapped in a 1972 Skylark 8.5" 10-bolt with a mounting kit from HPMotorsports. Since this rear is about 3" wider than the stock I was able to fit the 10 inchers by going to a wider offset. I picked the offset based off the tire size and with those tires it does not rub on the frame or the quarter panels. The quarters are rolled and the car is lowered with a set of springs from a 3rd gen F-body with the coils cut until the desired stance was acheived. Those 285"s are the standard size rubber used on Panteras and late 70's turbo Porsches. Nobody is making that size now and I have since gone to 275/50 DR's on the back. I had to raise it up a little so this taller tire would clear the frame. I plan to go to a 265/50 tire here shortly so I can lower it back down.

So, it's lowered by cut 3rd gen f-body springs only? No drop spindles?

He's mine with the 1LE 3rd Gen F-Body springs with a loop cut off.
I need to take some pics at the same angle Eric's are taken at. :)

When you use the dropped spindles, the stock suspension geometry forces the top of the tire out, on bumps, and makes the tires more prone to rubbling. A shorter spring, changes the geometry just enough that they don't want to rub (as bad, thou the wrong offset, and they still will).

Yeah, Mine are also cut IIRC 1 1/2 coils on the front and 1 coil on the rears. No dropped spindles. I did the dropped spindle thing and didn't like the amount of bump steer that was made into them. With the cut coils I experience very little if any nose dive when braking(stock brakes). Some people would consider the ride a little on the harsh side. At least it doesn't bob like the rice-boys when they lower a Civic or mini-truck. You get used to it after awhile.

Bruce, I used a 6' ladder on one shot, aint GN trunks great! The other shot was on an incline with me laying on my belly. To bad neither shot shows the stock widened GN wheels.
