Yea umm... random question but yea, I need a new steering wheel bad

The one on the car right now has a broken horn piece and the leather is all worn down and ripped on the sides. I'd really like to pick up a new one if anyone knows where I could get a reproduction one or one with one of those new horn buttons, like the one that has the GN symbol... thas cool i like that.

thanx, a link would be great :D

There was a vendor that was recovering and referbishing them. It may have been kirbans. I think it was on the north side of $300 though.

Might want to also post in Resto section.

The TR steering wheels are one of their problematic interior parts, for sure.

As of yet, I haven't seen a "recover" done on a TR wheel that couldn't be spotted at 4-5 feet as a non-factory wheel due to the stitching and/or poor quality leather.

Call Brian Weaver. He has a line on a restoration place. Supposedly very good quality.

Is the leather actually ripped? and or is the stitching just coming apart?. If the coating on the leather is just cracked, sand it off and repaint it.

An inquirey I made awhile back.

Jeff,
Thanks for the note. Our cost is $175 plus $10 shipping, exchange. No
exchange, is price is an additional $50.

I saw your auction on ebay, but had unfortunatley bought a defective one
already. Please let me know the cost with and without core charge. Thank you
