What's a lag switch??

I haven't been playing lately on my screen name (turbosixx). Trying to get my son up in rank so been playing on his screen name. I'm really trying to ween myself off the game, played way too much last year. Sometimes 12 hrs. a day on COD4. WaW is ok but I rather COD4.

Question for playing on ps3. Im currently using the name djj624 but i want to change it over to 1sik6. On my ps3's origional setup it asked me
For a username then later on in the seup it asked for my email. My email is the name being used for onlline
Play. How can i change this? I thought the username was the name i would be given.

I usually play hardcore search and destroy. I like using the PTRS-41 sniper gun. I'll run to the back of maps and pick people off like flies. It's hilarious

do a search on yahoo for lag switch......basically it is a cheating method of implementing an actual switch between your network connection so when you flip it on, you delay your network traffic and trick the game into thinking it thinks you are in one spot when really you are in another spot. pretty obvious to catch these guys online.......they move around like they are in the movie matrix.......there's other ways of cheating too like exploiting the call of duty map glitches where you can actually go underneath the map and kill people and they can't see you and you rack up the kill streaks.......pretty obvious to catch those guys too.....i know alot of tricks but I don't cheat...i just know what to look out for

I notice the hiding under the maps a lot in Castle. Aren't they going to come out with a patch to fix those things. It really sucks when you get 2nd because you don't cheat.

The castle glitch is still there, I think they fixed the other one.
