Anyone turbocharge a Century/4 dr Regal

Hi everyone....great forum you have here.

My first car was a comfy but pitifully slow 1980 two tone Century Limited with the 3.8 and incredibly tall rear gear.

I always imagined putting a GN powertrain in it....anyone seen this done?

Talk about a sleeper!

i havent personally done this but i saw a station wagon that had it done. it was amazing!

Never seen one like that, but I used to have one of those too. Mine was that ugly 80's green with the tan interior and falling down headliner. What a beater. It even had the 3.8 badges on the side, which was slightly smaller than the Pontiac 400 that resided underneath. Man, I miss that car

Yeah, my headliner was toast too, but it was my parents hand me down car, so it was very clean with only about64,000 miles when I got it, two tone beige/brown, power everything--even the little pivoting vent rear windows, and the same dash as a GN.

This was a factory setup in 1980. I saw one for sale when I didn't have a place for it. It had and aluminum care support and later the turbo froze up and it was donated to a high school shop for the kids to practice on. The numbers all matched and it was a factory turbo 4dr.
