I just bought a second regular battery in two years. Now I see these dry cell batteries. They are only 12 pounds and can sit around for two years. They are not for hard to start cars but if your TR starts within 5 seconds, it might be good for you.

I have the odessey 680 in my T, you don't get tons of reserve, but it will start if its charged. Their warranty is good, I had a 980 go bad and they (Batteries Plus) replaced it, no proration. Make sure to keep it charged in the car or unplug it for storage.

Old post. but I just bought the PC680
I noticed there are two different ratings. One is 220cca and the other is 170cca. Which do you guys have?

I ditched mine to run THS and I wanted to look stock as possible. I found it didn't let me run the stereo without the engine running very long when detailing the car.

I run a yellowtop optima in my TR, it's their deep cycle battery that had alot of cranking power and although cost a bit was made up for the fact i havent had to replace the battery in 3+ years since i put that battery in. Yes it does weigh alittle more cause its an agm drycell and costs alittle more, but they really are tough good batteries. You can beat on them and them keep going.
