Are there any downsides to the AOD swap? The CK price at $3500 complete is about the same as a full billet 200. Is the AOD as strong as the TH400? Does it work well with a trans brake?
Thanks

we have a guy that has been 7.90 with one.also check out the magazine article i mentioned.there is also a"nameless"street racer in the jersey city area running one behind a twin turbo 412" motor we built here in the shop.8.60s so far.as far as the brakes go,just as our th400 glide and 2004r pieces, ours are totally unique when compared with all other types putting them in a class of their own.our ingenuity not someone elses .itll run right along side a race prepped th400 and its still got a better first gear ratio and lighter guts.we are working on a hollow drive tube lock up model .

The AOD swap sounds great. You can now have the best of both worlds. The strength of a 400, but lighter, with OD.

Thanks Chris for all your R&D efforts, and bringing another great product to the Buick community.

I think we all look forward to hearing more success stories.
