Take it from a guy who's had champion irons and GN1's. STAY WITH THE IRONS!!! These aluminum GN1's are nothing but trouble. Not saying that they can't be good heads, but if you buy them, make sure someone competent checks them out for you. The guides on mine are bad out of the box, and they were built late sept. 2003. They were supposedly "checked out", but apparently not very well. Now I get the joy of yanking my pos heads off my brand new motor and paying to have them fixed. I never had a problem with my irons, sure do miss them.....
