The short section of line that appears to be lower in your picture looks right. It feeds into a 90degree fitting on the front of the radiator. The longer section of line that looks to be pointing to the front of the car should end up pointing toward the driver side of the car so it to can run into a 90 degree fitting on the front of the radiator.
Basically both lines need to be pointing to the drivers side of the car in front of the radiator.
The short line goes to the top tranny cooler fitting and the longer line goes to the bottom tranny cooler fitting on the front of the radiator. bottom is inlet from transmission top is return line back to transmission(or into external cooler if so desired). On Tranny, bottom port is the return line from cooler top port is outlet to cooler.
