Are other OEM turbos as loud as ours?

Riding with the T-Tops off yesterday thinking about this, over about 10psi this little stocker screams

I have never driven another turbo vehicle except a Dodge Cummins, and you can barely here the turbo over all that diesel racket.

So what other turbo cars out there also have the Death Whistle (OEM)?

our turbo's make that much noise becasue of how big they are i would imagine...eclipse's you can hear, but you have to have the radio off and no fart pipe...

I had a '84 and '88 Thunderbird TurboCoupe .....theres you would here whistle and feel the push but nothing like our engines do.....

.....I haven't driven my car much at all since getting it but everytime I do Im just totally amazed

I hear the turbo in my 89 Daytona everytime it comes on.

It has been so long since my GN had the stock air box I can't remember if it was louder.
