arp head bolts

Will that be ok to use on my arp head bolts?

I used ARP thread sealant.

ARP is probably your best but Permatex 2 has been around and used for 30+ years

I use his stuff but that other stuff works too. I use this because it is non hardening so a retorque is a non issue.
