How many quarts does it take to fill with the deep pan?

I believe most deep pans take an additional 2 qts over stock.......keep in mind that you normally want to run it 1 quart more than recommended anyways.
Depending on your torque convertor size too....eg a large diameter like a 12" is gonna require more fluid than a 9" etc. Also depends if your tanny is bond dry like from a recent rebuilt which would be completely empty or only partially empty from a convertor change over.
All in all, I recall adding 13.5L or = approx 13.5 US Qts of Dex VI to mine.

Hard to tell but looks like the bracket is upside down. The flat should sit on pan and the cable should sit below rail.

I have not had any problems with that bracket with my Hughes pan

Mine was bone dry (trans, tc, cooler lines and cooler) was somewhere around 12-14 qts.
