As much as I agree that these lights should be outlawed, they are dot approved. There are a big percentage of new cars that have these style lights. On the front too. IMO dot is not doing their job testing these lights. You can't see them but nun the less they been stamped "approved" so I would say the owner has a pretty good case if the right lawyer can be obtained.

Guess I need to stay away from Maryland! Apparently they don't like our G8 GT's.

I read all the comments apparently the guy has multiple sets of lights for his car and there is some confusion about which set of lights he had in it that day. The officer/judge may have a leg to stand on if he's running tinted tails or the ones that he cut apart and modified.

Oh wow... Im not suprised. There pulling some stoopid BS laws out here Like that as Well. The states/governments are going broke and are finding minute ways to get paid by harassing us and draining every cent out of americans pocets.... I HATE SH** LIKE THIS...... aaaaahhhhhhh
