What is a good replacement alternator for the TTA?

I got one from Kirban Performance, http://www.kirbanperformance.com/, brand new and no core charge @ $149 ... looks identical to the OEM one. THey also have the later model fan you can get and install for better cooling and better looks. I bought both items recently and will put them on my TTA this winter.

FYI the standard 120amp TTA GM alternator is # 10463095 or delco 321-386. Probably $10 core charge which is not worth taking back probably for you.. the price of the unit from GM Parts direct is US$164 delivered with core. We have them down under for about US$129-US$134 inc core - all up GM DELCO... but your not here....
Its also the same replacement alternator for most all the 89 Trans Am series and the 87 GN.

My usual replies:

1) rebuild it with the 200 amp kit from "the other" turbobuick site
2) Powermaster replacement - more expensive than option 1
3) search archives for GM replacements


I choose option 1.
