Any opinions? I searched under both and it seems most like both. Besides cost which is better. Order of importance is performance, sound, price. I will order one or the other tomorrow.

TIA, Bob

All I can offer is my opinion on the 3" duals.

They sound great and fit well. I do have a tip for you if you go with these. DON"T use the supplied muffler hangers. With the weight of this system, it will bounce like hanging on rubber bands!

Use a heavy duty muffler hanger with the steel strap and swivel end. No more knocking against the floor pan.

I can't immagine much gain by running an open dump pipe with this system. Even the mufflers are a 3" straight through design with no baffling to restrict flow! I was very surprised with how quiet it is. Just a nice deep, throaty rumble at idle!

Very happy with mine:D The price is the biggest obstacle to overcome!:(

I second that!

I also got the 3" duals and love it. I also bought a dump from ATR and now improvements. It flow the same as the dump but with less noise. If you want to save $$$ a freind of mines has the 2.5" duals from ATR and had no noticable difference in performance running through the mufflers vs the dump.

Do you have pics of yours? Mine seems to hang kind of low towards the axle. I'd like to see the fit of some others. :)

FWIW, I have the 3" ATR duals and they fit perfectly, using the supplied and OEM stuff. No slapping the floor pan, no hanging low, no nothing. The system is supported at 5 points:

modified OEM cat hanger

clamp/strap aft of each muffler

tabs on each exhaust pipe loaded into OEM hangers

Same here.. fit using the supplied replacement hanger for the tranny point was excellent. Mine doesn't rub or bump anything. Sounds great. I tad louder and it is a little dronish around 40 MPH. Cruising on the highway it is very quiet.

I haven't taken any pics yet but I'll see what I can do.

The hanger supplied for the cat location worked fine! The problem was with the muffler hangers. Going over a lump in the road, they would bounce and hit against the floor at the drive shaft tunnel. ( DAMN NEW JERSEY ROADS:mad: )

I'm not saying that you WILL have this problem, but if you do, a pair of heavy duty strap steel hangers will do the job!

You definitely won't regret buying this system!

I decided on the 3" crossflow system with the single muffler behind the axle. It is supposed to be a little quieter and has no drone. Plus it is a couple buck cheaper and should have similar performance. We'll see, I'll post results.

Bob,
I have the 3" crossflow and I think the duals are quieter, 'cause each pipe has a muffler. The cops stopped me for loudness. I put another muffler in front of the axle (Borla Sportsman 3"). Even with an extra muffler it still drones around two grand. Once you get out of that RPM range it gets quite.

After all that crap, I still think it's a great sounding system and would do it again. The 3" pipes look badas$

Just a tip, when I put mine on, I attached the muffler and pipes in the rear first...after everything was hung I tightened it down. I have no hitting or banging on the floor. It might be because I have new rear springs???

3" crossflow all the way, the only other system I would change too would be a mufflex custom 3 1/2 dp and 4" catback, way loud, atr is loud but nice.

I don't think it is that loud the cop just wanted to see the car, or wanted to be a prick if you ask me. The only time the car is that loud is at WOT and it is still quiter then the ATR single 3" I had and the Mufflex 4".
