atr HP173R3 chip and my combo

according to ATR 26deg at 2000-3000 and 24 deg the rest of the way. Is this too much timing for my combo its a new motor and I turned the boost way down still getting between 4-7 KR with high 700's on the 02's? 93 octane, slightly bigger cam. When I adjust the FP to 40lbs it smells very rich and Im a little worried about cylinder wash from the extra fuel. Could I have one or more bad inj's I was planning on getting some 50s and a chip but dont want to invest the money if something else is wrong. The motor was proffesionaly done so I hope I didnt spend 4k for an anchor. Could the new O2 sensor be wrong unit or bad. The MAF sensor is new. Im not sure how old the current inj's are they were on the car when I bought it over two years ago.
P.S. the motor only has 600 miles on it.
