ATR Pitbull Exhaust System

Im looking to get a new exhaust system. I have searched and can't quite find the answer im looking for. My brothers GN has the 2.5" SS ATR System with the Stainless Pitbull mufflers. I cant seem to find one used. I don't want a 3" system, so I'm wanting to know is there a 2.5" system that sounds just like the atr system? I hear alot about the Pypes, but everyone says its kind of quite. The atr Pitbull is IMO louder. Thanks in advance...

Yes, the pypes kit I was referring to is the pypes cat back with race pro mufflers. Just trying to get some input on systems the sound comparable to the ATR kit.

i'm in the same boat as you and I'll probably go with an RJC exhaust; i posted a WTB thread for an ATR exhaust with no luck. I have a hooker exhaust on my car now and it's too quiet.

Yup.....ATR also made their Stainless Steel Exhaust System in a 2 1/2" size.....same with the Pit Bull Mufflers...these were available in 2 1/2" Stainless Steel and also aluminumized steel construction.

I picked a used ATR 2 1/2" Stainless System up from another board member several years ago....been on my car for about 5 years......still looks as good as new!

If you keep an eye open....they do become available from time to time....but go fast....so you've got to jump on it quickly......

ATR systems hold thier value....you should expect to pay $500 + for it.

There are other systems as good, RJC sells a great Stainless Exhaust, & Pypes has a 2 1/2" Stainless Steel Exh system too.
You have a choice of muffllers from Pypes.....I would think that the muffler selection would determine the "growl" your looking for.

I dont mind paying that at all if its in excellent condition. They are just hard to find. There are several straight through style mufflers out there. Someones mufflers have got to sound similar to the pitbulls I would think.......

Yup.....ATR also made their Stainless Steel Exhaust System in a 2 1/2" size.....same with the Pit Bull Mufflers...these were available in 2 1/2" Stainless Steel and also aluminumized steel construction.

Do you have the dimensions of the ATR pitbull mufflers? What is the length, width and height? Are those mufflers also 3"?
