Re: Up Pipe!!
Also, spoke to ATR at the beginning of the week and they said they only had 2 other complaints about the 84/85 uppipe (3 may be a decent percentage since we are a small group and not everyone is using their uppipe). 1 guy they said sent it back for a refund and the other they swapped out and never heard back from him. They basically said that all I could do was send it to them so they could check fitment and then they would see if it can be fixed or send another if they feel anything is wrong with it. I was hoping to just put the stocker on there in the meantime so the car can still be moved and then send it to them, but now I dont know [not paying 49.99 for donut gasket for the temp stock pipe]. Maybe I should just cut the ATR pipe and weld it myself!? What type of stainless is it? (Im not set up for welding stainless)
Spoke to Poston yesterday about donut gasket for stock uppipe. They want $49.99 for it! He also told me about the stainless pipe they offer (which I verified is not made by ATR) and said that they recommend the same gasket with it. So that would be $89.99 + $49.99. Im not paying that much for an uppipe right now. What I want to know boostmaster is if you had to use the donut gasket with that uppipe? Didnt they make it flat like the ATR one so that you could just use the flat copper gasket?Originally posted by boostmaster
