Gary, On the corvette forum the prices on Z06's are dropping like a brick. $16,000 under MSRP I'm seeing. I remember you were hot to buy one. Think of all the fun you can have with some poor stealership.

I was in trying to steal one..

they still want near sticker for Z06, yea I brought in an ad with sales prices,.
on my way out I asked where the nearest cadillac dealer was, and did he (salesman) think they had any XLR's left??? LOL
dealers brain wash the stupid salesman!

I'm so glad that the greedy dealers were playing games & pissed me off so bad when I was interested in one. I bought the Porsche & never looked back.

Yes, I have been watching prices closely, but several problems still remain. In the Republik of Kali prices are dropping like pebbles, not rocks, while the rest of US prices are dropping like rocks. That $16K off dealer is in Missouri, has or had only 2 car for sale at that price, 1 red & 1 black, and I have heard that they are again enforcing the minimum 7500 mile requirement for a car to be brought into Kali as a used car, so not too sure about that one. I have also heard that Kali cars need a Kali smog sticker, and that sticker only comes now on cars sold originally in Kali, as compared to at one time all cars were 50 state cars, and you could just call GM and they would send you a sticker for a car not originally sold in Kali. And if you aren't looking back, you would be surfing VDUB VOLKSVAGON GAZETTER & not Corvette Forum. But thanks for keeping an eye out for me, I have been watching. Employee discounting and / or 0% financing went away for vettes for a while too. Welcome to the Republik of Kalifornication, where everybody sticks it to you.

Whats wrong with a lo miles used one.Hell their even cheaper. I have the Volkswagen up for sale & intend to buy a newer one if I can get my price. True things are more in Calif. but so are the wages & we can drive our nice cars year round. To my knowledge all cars now are required to be 50 state & because of that the 7500 rule no longer applies. The fee's & licencing will never be this cheap again.Wait till the socialists get elected & watch what happens to tax's. No surprise that Calif is going/gone broke & the sales tax is rumoured to go up to 9 percent. So what are you waiting for. Found that lo miles Buick yet ?

I would be happier if i find a extremely nice extremely low mileage '07, '08, or '09 in Kali, silver, no nav as it doesn't work well anyway, competition grey wheels only, black or grey interior, 2LZ or 3LZ only. Other than that, I have also been looking for a nice low mileage Turbo-t, but you know how stringent my requirements are for that car. Either one will probably be the last car that I buy in life. I'm not that particular. However, I do not blame you for buying the Porsche or another newer one for that matter. I am less discriminate, I will settle for the vette as described above.

GNbooster87:
Yes, I know about all of the discounts going on, but the dealers in Kali are trying to hold out for full boat price, or discount as little as possible. But thanks for the info.
