Autometer dual guage pod for A-pillar

Ive got one and I dont like it. To install it, you have to drill 4 holes through the gauge holder and the A-piller. Then they give you these little plugs that you put in the holes that you drilled. If you make a mistake, it is nearly imposible to pull those plugs out without breaking them (I know this first hand). I ended up using double sided tape and a small screw to hold it on. Needless to say, this is not a simple instalation. As for the looks...well, it looks like $#!@ to me.
Take my advice, dont buy it unless you wat the ghetto GN look

does anyone make a complete A-pillar replacement that houses 2 guages?

i got mine from ramchargers

dont know where they got it from or what not... you just screw it in right over the existing pillar plastic piece and looks great...

i like it very much
easy fit and it was pretty cheap!

Or you just drill two holes in the pod and screw it into the existing holes in the A-pillar. I think it fits and looks as good as a ricey pillar pod can.

I bet most vendors are reselling the autometer pod.

Try LoTek. They are located in NC near Raleigh. They are painting a 3 gauge a-pillar and a 2 gauge t-top unit for my 84GN.

My Autometer pod fits very well. I drilled one hole and lined it up with the top screw on the pillar and then used super sticky 3M tape to hold the bottom and then painted the screw head. I don't think it looks bad at all.
