AVC Dash install question (speedo cable)

Me and a buddy are getting ready to install a used AVC GNX style dash in his GN that he picked up through Ebay and see in the instructions that were missing a speedo cable in this seller described "complete kit". Does anyone know what the part number is for the speedo cable or if the factory one will work? We havent started pulling the dash apart yet or anything just seeing everything we need to get going on this project.

jut go back to ebay and get a speedometer cable for vdo spedometers
38" is about right and they are around 20bucks

if you have a 2004r and want lockup to operate via the speed , or have a chip that looks at speed for timing /fuel changes youll need a vss sender that went inline under the hood , good luck with that as they are two pulse per rev senders that are discontinued and the only in lines available have the wrong pulse rate and would require using the casper vss converter ,

i have instructs for this dash,
the plastic backer needs to be cut extensively and the duct work behind that needs a 1" hole drilled and a short peiceof poly tube installed to allow the speedometer cable to reach the vdo speedometer.
if itwas used it should have the bezel and the idiot assembly with new filter lens installed (originals had to reuse your idiot lamp pod )
the wiring isnt bad just run the nylon boost tubing to the boost gauge , plug the main connector in (tape and ziptie it) , screw the speedomter cable in and slide it in , pop the bezel on

Thanks for the reply and info! He did get a vss converter with the set up but it says 4 pulse on it. We luckily did get a copy of the instructions (with really dark unreadable pics) that will make installation a little easier. We found a 2 pulse online so far for $139

It's been a while since I installed mine, but I believe I just used the existing 2 piece speedo cable that was on the car? .
Your VSS pulse sender goes in line on your speedo cable near your brake booster.

its actually goes on the driver fender well where the lower speedo cable meets the upper
