Anyone have a set of directions handy for a B&M Pro Ratchet shifter? My car came with one and I would like to go back to the original setup. I would like the directions so I can reverse the install.

I'm sorry, I don't have directions. I'm pretty sure its just a matter of physically unbolting the shifter assembly, and then disconnecting the cable...but my main reason for responding was to see if you'd be interested in selling the shifter? I've got a 400 tranny in my car and I've been looking for one used, but no luck so far. Not sure if you have a stock shifter or not, but maybe could do trade and cash for your shifter. Either way, I'm interested. Let me know...thanks

I do have a stock setup that came with the car. I'm not sure if it would work for you as it has 1,2,3,D,N,R,P. Would it work with a 3-speed car?

I was hoping it would be that easy... didn't know if there was any little things I didn't know about like different linkages, etc.

Hmm..I'm not 100% sure it'll work for me, but probably about 90. I'm pretty sure just the sticker changes, since its ratchet, and the ratchet stays centered, its only gonna pull the cable as much as it can. You understand what I'm trying to say? Like its a 3 speed, so its only gonna ratchet 3 times, not like a gate type shifter, where there would be a whole notch not used. Hope that makes sense to you, lol not so much to me. And I'm thinking the linkage stays the same, you may wanna double check w/ someone else though, my pops is the tranny guy, I try to stay away from all that as much as possible:D

Also I just looked in the summit catalog I had laying here, says it works for 200/250/350/400 C4/C6/AOD and TF. So let me know

Very true, didn't think of it that way. I suppose you could even use 1st to activate a trans brake?

I'll let you know if I do end up pulling it off. I still haven't made up my mind yet.
